If you see a fleet of Lug+Carries down at Bondi in Sydney, they might belong to one of the Bondi Salties. What started as a group of five friends in 2013, is now a community of over 500 people who meet every Friday for a swim and a coffee at the famous beach. Through our partnership, a number of them have jumped on Lug+Carrie eBikes.
Henry Meagher, one of the OG salties rides a Lug+Carrie Tern GSD with his daughters on the back. We caught up with him recently for a chat about the Salties and why he loves his Lug+Carrie.

“So I’ve had my Lug+Carrie for about 6 months or so. I’ve got two kids and I commute to work on a daily basis, but the beauty of the Lug+Carrie was I could start dropping the girls at daycare on the way to work. I could also do the grocery shopping, cruise down to Salties and the beach. It just made everything simpler, more efficient and easier.”
“About three weeks ago, I was riding through Bondi Junction after dropping the girls off at school and I got a flat tyre. I called up Lug+Carrie and they were like, yep all good. It was that simple moment of just having Lug+Carrie just resolve that side of it all for me.”
