Free delivery to your home and a 45 min introduction to riding your new Lug+Carrie with kids. We will also show you how to lock, charge and care for your new wheels.

Have Fun

We’re here for you. Any issues with your bike and we will come to your place to get you rolling again. There’s even roadside assistance! It’s all part of the standard Lug+Carrie subscription.

Continue Riding

After 8 weeks, you can transition to a weekly subscription with Lug+Carrie, buy your bike to keep riding or book in your return at no extra cost. ​​

The Tern GSD ebike is a compact and versatile cargo bike designed to carry two passengers or children. The image shows the bike parked on a city street with a blurred cityscape in the background. Why should I ride with Lug+Carrie?

We have over 1800 happy riders and over 250 5-star reviews on Google – we love helping people ride. We pride ourselves on keeping you on the road with quick turn around on any maintenance and being experts on your bike so you don’t have to. 

Our bikes are EFBE Tested for safety and have batteries that are UL-certified, meaning that they are a safe and reliable transport option to carry your precious cargo. 

Riding a Lug+Carrie is more than riding a bike. It means you are a Good Mover, joining a community of other riders. Join our Rider Network with over 750 Good Movers sharing stories and helping each other.

Who is this trial for?

The offer is for families who have a child enrolled at one of the following schools:

  • Brunswick North Primary
  • Pascoe Vale Primary
  • Moomba Park Primary
  • Fawkner Primary
  • Oak Park Primary
  • Glenroy West Primary 
Are there any upfront costs?

You will be asked to complete two surveys and pay a $44 deposit as part of the application process. This $44 will be credited back to you against your weekly discounted subscription. 

What happens at the end of the 8 weeks?

6 weeks into the trial you’ll receive an email asking if you would like to continue riding your bike. If you cancel your subscription before the end of week 7, we will pick up your bike for free after the trial.

If you do not notify us that you would like to cancel, your trial will transition to a weekly subscription, and the standard cancellation period of 28 days will apply.

8 week trial Terms & Conditions

By signing up you agree to our standard terms and conditions which can be read here. 

As part of this trial, we will waive our 4-week cancellation period if you cancel before the end of week 7 of your trial.

If you choose to continue your subscription past the 8-week trial, the standard 28-day cancellation period will apply.

Offer is not available for active Lug+Carrie subscribers.

New and refurbished ebike subsidy terms and conditions
  • The $800 value subsidy is available on new Tern eBikes and refurbished eBikes.
  • New Tern eBikes and refurbished Lug+Carrie eBikes are entitled to a subsidy of $400 for their purchase.
  • $400 of value in accessories is available for new Tern eBikes and lug+Carrie refurbished eBikes.
  • The total subsidy is not available for current subscribers. Current Merri-bek subscribers are entitled to $400 of Tern accessories on new or refurbished eBikes.
  • eBike purchases are facilitated via the Lug+Carrie team, not the Tern refurbished online store.
  • Available for Tern accessories only.
  • Offer valid until 30th June 2024
