Is this like rent-to-own for eBikes?

No, this isn’t a rent-to-own program; it’s better! Our Fast Track and Mindful Mover programs let you experience the eBike lifestyle while earning Lug+Carrie credits. You can then use these credits to purchase your bike if you choose. There’s no obligation to buy, and you’re not locked into a fixed-term contract. You can cancel with just 28 days’ notice. Plus, you get tons of included benefits as a subscriber, like servicing, repairs, insurance, pick-up and drop-offs, and Rider Rescue!

What does a Lug+Carrie subscription include?

A Lug+Carrie eBike subscription includes your eBike set up, along with benefits designed to make your ride worry-free. Your subscription covers regular servicing and maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance (we call it Rider Rescue!). You also get access to our support team for riding tips and advice.

How does the "Fast Track" (100% Credit) offer actually work?

If you decide to purchase your eBike within your first 8-weeks of subscription, 100% of your subscription payments during that period can be used as credit to buy the bike you’re riding or a new one from our range. The offer is limited to 8-weeks and cannot be combined with the 50% Mindful Mover offer or any other offers and discounts.

The full payment must be made while your subscription is still active. 

How does the "Mindful Mover" (50% Credit) offer work if I'm keen to buy my current subscription eBike?

Get 50% of your weekly subscription payments (from week 1 up to two years) to use as Lug+Carrie credit towards the buyout price of the eBike you’re riding.

Can I combine these awesome offers with other discounts or promotions?

Your benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, or discount programs.

What if I'm ready for a brand new eBike from your range?

After 6 months of subscribing, you can get 15% off any new eBike and gear! This offer lets you swap your 50% subscription payment credits (that would typically apply to your current eBike) for this sweet discount. And yes, that 15% off is applied directly to the RRP of your shiny new eBike + accessories.

How does my buyout price work for my subscribtion eBike that wasn't new when I got it?

If your subscription eBike had 500 km+ on it when you received it or has been ridden by someone else for more than 6 months, we’ll do something pretty fair. We’ll first take 10% off its original retail price when calculating your buyout. Then, your applicable credits (whether 100% or 50%) will apply to that new, reduced price. Easy peasy!

Am I locked into purchasing a bike if I subscribe?

No, you are not obligated to purchase the eBike at any point during or after your subscription. Our program offers pathways to ownership if you choose, but subscribing indefinitely is also an option.

What happens to my purchase credits if I decide to swap my eBike?

If you swap your eBike, any accrued buyout credit for that specific eBike will expire.
