These Refer-a-Friend Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Lug+Carrie Refer-a-Friend Program. By participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Program as a “Referrer”, you must be an existing customer (“Subscriber”) of Lug+Carrie with an active bike subscription.

The referred friend (“Referee”) must be a new customer of Lug+Carrie and must not have an existing account, subscription, or have ever been a Lug+Carrie subscriber at any time.

Both the referrer (“Referrer”) and the Referee must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

Referral Reward:

When an eligible Referrer refers a friend who successfully signs up for a weekly bike subscription with Lug+Carrie, both the Referrer and Referee will receive a 50% discount on their weekly bike subscription for one month. If a Referrer has multiple subscriptions, the discount will be applied to the lowest-value subscription by default. If the Referrer has multiple available coupons and subscriptions, the coupon can be applied to each active subscription but will always apply to the lowest value first.

The 50% discount applies to the regular weekly subscription rate and does not apply to any additional fees or charges. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, offers, or coupons.

How to Refer Friends:

To refer friends, the Referrer can share their provided referral link.

The Referee must sign up for a bike subscription using the referral link provided by the Referrer.

Only one referral per Referee is allowed. This offer cannot be used with another offer, discount, or coupon. 

Duration of Discount:

A 50% discount will be applied to the weekly bike subscription rate for both the Referrer and Referee. The Referee’s entitlement to the discount spans a duration of one month, commencing from the initiation of their subscription, which begins after the designated handover appointment marking the delivery of the bike. The Referrer can redeem a coupon from the onset of the Referee’s subscription beginning, which is when the Referee’s bike has been handed over. In the event that the Referrer possesses an active coupon, any newly acquired coupons will be systematically queued for subsequent application.

It is to be noted that coupons retained by the Referrer maintain their validity even in instances where the Referee opts to terminate their subscription, subject, to adherence to the stipulated 28-day cancellation notice period. Notwithstanding, should the termination of the Referee’s subscription be attributable to inappropriate conduct, Lug+Carrie reserves the right to revoke rewards for both the Referrer and the Referee. Upon the Referrer’s subscription cancellation, any extant unused coupons shall be deemed forfeit.

Program Changes and Termination:

Lug+Carrie reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without notice.

Any abuse of the Program or violations of these Terms may result in the termination of your subscription, participation, and/or the revocation of any discounts or rewards.

General Terms:

Discounts received through the Program cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, offers, or discounts and are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

Lug+Carrie is not responsible for any technical issues that may occur during the program, including but not limited to, referral link failures, coupon automation failures, lead capture failures, or any systems or processes that do not transpire as intended.

By participating in the Program, you agree to receive email notifications regarding the status of your referrals and your discount eligibility, as well as other marketing communications undertaken by Lug+Carrie.

Lug+Carrie reserves the right to cancel or reject any referrals or discounts that are determined to be fraudulent, abusive, in violation, or unsatisfactory of these Terms.

These Terms are subject to change, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not participate in the Program.
