We want you to always feel confident on your e-bike. That’s why we’ve included bike insurance as part of your Lug+Carrie subscription.

As long as your bike is locked, stored, and used correctly, you’re covered for theft and damage. If something does happen, the most you’ll pay is a $500 excess. If locking or storage requirements aren’t followed, you may be responsible for the full value of the bike. To learn more, check out our T&Cs.

Purchased your bike instead of subscribing?
Please note that insurance is not included — you’ll need to arrange your own cover.

You will be asked to pay a $200 deposit as part of the application process. Your deposit will be refunded when you decide to return your eBike.

Subscription payments will be automatically deducted from your bank account on a weekly basis.

If you wish to cancel your subscription, here’s what to do:

1. Let us know – Contact the Lug+Carrie team to give notice of your cancellation.

2. Return your bike – A 28-day notice period applies. You’ll continue to be charged until the bike is returned.
